FIG Partners announces the sponsorship of the "Play For Patrick" series in Fall 2006 to benefit the AFLAC Cancer Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. FIG has donated to both the "Play For Patrick" tennis and golf charity events in recognition of a young man with Stage IV Neuroblastoma blood disorder. Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation
On September 18th, 2006, FIG Partners was a lead sponsor in the Starlight Starbright Ladies Golf Open. Members of FIG Partners participated both as guest caddies as well as golfers. The Starlight Starbright Children's foundation is an organization dedicated to helping seriously ill children and their families. Their year, we were hosted by the Brookfield Country Club and were able to raise thousands for those in need. Red Cross Donation for Tsunami Victims – Special Meaning to FIG Partners
FIG Partners has made a donation to the International Red Cross to contribute to the relief effort for victims of the Indonesian Tsunami that struck on December 26th, 2004. Adam Desmond, a managing principal at FIG, was celebrating his honeymoon in Thailand when the disaster occurred. While Adam and his wife were on the opposite coast from the destruction, they have experienced the tragedy firsthand. The thousands who were less fortunate are in our thoughts now and in the future, and we wish all of those impacted a complete recovery.

FIG Partners supports Soldiers in Iraq
FIG Partners was proud to have sponsored the 1st Battalion, 8th Marines stationed in Iraq for the holiday season. Members of the firm pooled their efforts and were able to send numerous gifts for soldiers serving, as well as presents for Iraqi children. FIG Partners was honored to sponsor the troops and looks forward to continuing to support the troops in the future.

FIG Partners Offers Free Medical Care in Guatemala
FIG is pleased to have recently sponsored a participant in a program that offers free medical care to impoverished Guatemalans. The region of the county where this program focused was so remote that many people have never seen a doctor in their entire life.
